Customizing the sidebar image

It is easy to do! It's designed for a 250px x 150px image, so it probably won't look quite right with any other sizes.

To add the header, find these lines of code (hint: they're at the very top for easy editing) and replace YOUR URL HERE with the url of the image you want to use!

To change the main background image, it's a similar principle. Find these lines of code, and replace with the URL of your image file. (The background can be any size!)

hey, thought i should let you know the sidebar and the link/# of comments/reply links aren't working quite how they should for me. (on this journal and then i just shoved it on

fedoras to see if it was something with the modules that i effed up) i haven't gotten around to finding and replacing anything yet, so... idk what's up with it?

I have a question!

Maybe it's just because this journal has no entries yet, but if you click and go look at it, the way her profile image, etc, shows up at the top is very strange... Is that supposed to be this way?

You should uncheck the modules you don't want to appear there! In the sample layout, I think I have the modules set to this, but you can take all of them out if you don't want them there.

I know that this layout is supposed to be a fixed width, and I'm trying to figure it out on my own, but is it possible to adjust the width of the entry and placement of the sidebar?

text-align: justify;
margin: 0;
float: left;
   }

#secondary {
width: 250px;
background-repeat: no-repeat;
padding: 160px 0 0 0;
margin: 1px 0 0 10px;
position: fixed;
left: 710px;
float: left;
}

Those are the values to adjust. The top one is the width of the entries, and value left changes how far the sidebar is from the left side of the screen. Both can be changed to percents as well. Does that help?

Whups, I totally meant to reply to this a while ago. I actually managed to find the code myself around the same time you posted this. Thank you so much! (This is the journal I'm using the layout with, btw. Thank you for it; I haven't made a credit page yet for all the things like I need to but I will soon.)

Hiya! I'm using your gorgeous layout on this journal (I'm an RPer, herp a derp) and I just have one question regarding the 150px x 250px. I've put a gif there for now, but I was wondering whether or not it's possible to [ut that gif and a good few others like it in a loop so that one is randomly selected every time the page is refreshed.

Is there any way to do this on dreamwidth? I hope all of this makes sensedgdfhdf
