Yeah, what happened is DW changed their CSS in in some code push or another to remove the "tropo" signifier entirely, which makes it really hard to target the site skin specifically. #canvas is the least specific selector so the easiest to override, so if that doesn't work I'm not sure there is a straightforward way.
